Grantham Beer Festival opens with 30 beers on offer

Grantham Beer Festival opened today and continues until Saturday (August 6) at its new venue in the Huntingtower Community Primary Academy.

The festival is open from 11am to 11pm and there are over 30 beers to choose from as well as a selection of ciders, perries and mead.

There will be live music and Friday and Saturday night. Hot and cold food is available all day.

This year the local branch of CAMRA is raising money for Grantham Lynx Swimming Club during the festival.

Mayor of Grantham Linda Wootten was on hand to enjoy the opening of the festival which was busy on its first day.
