A Grantham College student has won a leadership award after completing a tough course.
Kyle Hunt, 20, took part in the Rotary Youth Leadership Award (RYLA) scheme which is funded and run annually by a team of volunteers drawn from local Rotary Clubs including those based in Grantham.
The intensive course lasts for a week and is based at Grafham Water Centre near Huntingdon. It consists of a series of talks, discussions and tutorials combined with plenty of physical activity all focussed on developing leadership skills in young people.
Kyle is a third year catering student at Grantham College and he hopes eventually to join the Army.
