A 33-year-old has admitted committing four driving offences in the centre of Grantham.

Carl Moore, of Ivatt Court, Grantham, pleaded guilty to four charges relating to January 29. He admitted driving a Ford Ka from St Peter’s Hill to Cambridge Street whilst disqualified, without insurance, without reasonable consideration to other road users, and while over the drink-drive limit, with 63 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35 microgrammes.

Prosecutor Marie Stace highlighted that this was a breach of a two-year driving ban imposed on Moore just nine days before, on January 20.

Magistrates asked for a pre-sentence report to be prepared on Moore, ahead of sentencing on March 14. In the meantime he remains on unconditional bail.
