Grantham court: Accused of rape and threats to kill

A Grantham man has been sent to crown court accused of rape and threats to kill.

Steven Charles Darby, 60, of Spittlegate Level, is accused of two counts of rape of a woman aged 16 or over on March 23 and April 6, in Greyfriars, Grantham.

He is also accused of making a threat to kill in Greyfriars on April 6.

The case was adjourned to Lincoln Crown Court for a preliminary hearing on September 28. Mr Darby was given bail on condition he does not contact one named person and does not go to Greyfriars.
