Two co-defendants who failed to appear at court have been issued with arrest warrants.

Both Warren Bishop, 38, of Kinoulton Court, Grantham, and Elizabeth Summerfield, 29, of the same address, are accused of stealing £70 worth of meat from the Lincolnshire Co-op on Dysart Road, Grantham, on February 13.

Summerfield also faces a charge of stealing meat valued at £16.50 from Kwik Save in Grantham on March 28.

Neither of the defendants answered bail to appear before Grantham magistrates last Monday, and have consequently been issued with arrest warrants not backed for bail.
