Andruas Abdurachmamovas of Sturrock Court, Grantham, admitted to driving over the limit on December 15.

At 4.10am police witnessed a Mercedes 300 swerving across Goodliff Road, Grantham, and on stopping the vehicle the spoke to the driver, Abdurachmamovas, who failed a roadside breath test.

In his defence, Jane Bauer said her client was very co-operative with police and that he had been experiencing marital difficulties.

He went to a friend’s house to talk over these issues and consumed alcohol.

Due to this being the second drink driving offence, Abdurachmamovas was disqualified for 36 months. He was also fined £350 and must pay prosecution costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £35.
