A teenager who was found with cannabis in his underwear has been fined.

Casey Page, 18, of Tamar Court, Grantham, pleaded guilty to being in possession of one gram of the class B drug.

The teenager was charged on October 23 after police smelt cannabis coming from a vehicle.

Page was one of the occupants and during a drug search officers discovered the gram of cannabis in the front of Page’s underwear.

He also admitted to smoking a gram of the drug daily, added prosecutor Daniel Pietryka.

In Page’s defence, Sonia Bhalla highlighted that it was a small amount and added that the teenager was ‘really sorry’ for what he had done.

Page was ordered to pay an £80 fine, £85 prosecution costs, £20 victim surcharge and £180 criminal court charge.
