Grantham court: Defendant gets chance to see CCTV

A charge of drunk and disorderly behaviour that was proved guilty in the defendant’s absence, has been re-opened and adjourned so that he can obtain CCTV evidence.

Bradley Oates, aged 28, was sentenced for the alleged offence at Grantham Market Place on November 16, and after not attending on December 1 he was informed that it could be proved in his absence on December 22.

Oates who said he was late, not absent on December 22, attended court on Monday and the case was adjourned until January 26.

He remains on unconditional bail.
