Grantham court: Mother accused of allowing son to use home for smoking cannabis

A mother and son appeared in court together today accused of drugs offences.

Selina Michelle Hitch, 40, of Cecil Street, is accused of allowing the use of her home for the smoking of cannabis on May 27 last year.

Her son Stephen Evan Clarke, 18, of the same address, is accused of possessing 17.6g of methylmethcathinone, known as Mcat, a class B drug, with intent to supply, and possessing a quantity of cannabis with intent to supply.

Miss Hitch pleaded not guilty and she will stand trial at Grantham Magistrates Court on April 22. She was granted unconditional bail.

Mr Clarke did not enter any pleas. His case was sent to Lincoln Crown Court for a preliminary hearing on February 16. He was also given unconditional bail.
