A man and woman appeared before magistrates accused of assaulting constables in the execution of their duty.

Gemma Louise Pattenden, 24, of Agnes Street, Grantham, and Karl Joseph Watson, 24, of the same address, both deny the offences which were allegedly committed in Agnes Street on January 27.

They are each accused of assaulting different police officers.

Magistrates adjourned the case for trial at Grantham court on July 22. The defendants were granted unconditional bail.
