A Nottingham man has been charged with six counts of possessing indecent images of children, and to recording a private act at Grantham’s Meres Leisure Centre.

Ian McCreeth, 32, of Langdown Close, Bullwell, gave no indication of pleas to the charges when he appeared at Grantham Magistrates’ Court on Monday.

He is accused of voyeurism on July 21, 2013, when he is alleged to have recorded a private act with the purpose of obtaining sexual gratification at Grantham’s Meres Leisure Centre. The six charges of possessing indecent photographs of children are on the same date, at an address on Cliffe Road, Gonerby Hill Foot, and at Grantham Police Station.

The case was sent to Lincoln Crown Court, starting with a plea and case management hearing on September 28. McCreeth remains on conditional bail not to have any unsupervised contact with children under the age of 16.
