Grantham court: Race charge denied

A Grantham man has denied a charge of racially aggravated fear of violence by words alleged to have taken place in the Isaac Newton Centre.

Samuel Coates, aged 23, of Sycamore Court, Grantham, pleaded not guilty to the offence dated on November 19.

The case will now go for trial at Grantham magistrates’ court on April 22, with Coates on conditional bail.
