A teenager who got kicked out of a Grantham club has pleaded guilty to being drunk and disorderly in a public place.

Luke Wiltshire, 19, of St Mellion Drive, Grantham, was arrested at about 1.45am on January 10.

He approached officers after being ejected from The Late Lounge club in Market Place.

While swearing he asked officers to find out why he had been kicked out.

After being told to calm down and to stop using abusive language he ran out of the Market Place but returned.

He was searched by police on suspicion of having drugs but none were found.

Police issued an order to leave the area but he would not go home and after running out in front of a taxi, forcing the driver to brake suddenly, he was arrested and charged.

Wiltshire showed remorse in the court and Grantham Magistrates Court sentenced him to a £155 fine.
