Grantham court: Teenager to stand trial on assault charge

A Grantham teenager will stand trial at crown court after denying an assault charge.

Jake Peter Shaw, 18, of New Beacon Road, pleaded not guilty to assaulting another man occasioning him actual bodily harm in Dysart Road, Grantham, on October 10 last year.

Magistrates adjourned the case for trial at Lincoln Crown Court with a preliminary hearing on July 18.

Mr Shaw was granted bail on condition he did not contact the alleged victim.
