Firefighters were called to rescue a man and a 12-year-old boy in two separate incidents yesterday.

The boy was rescued after he became stuck in a swing in Wyndham Park. The fire crew was called just before 6pm.

Less than an hour later a Grantham crew was called to rescue a man from the roof of a shopping centre in the town. The crew used a triple extension ladder to rescue the man who had become stuck on the roof.

More details to come.
