A GOLFING challenge which aims to raise money for two charities will take place on Wednesday (June 20) at Belton Woods Golf Club in Grantham.

Help for Heroes and Rainbows Hospice for Children and Young People in Loughborough will benefit from the ‘Dawn Till Dusk’ challenge.

Four three-man teams are taking part, two of which are service and e-service personnel, while the others are made up of Belton Woods Hotel staff and Continental Tyres employees. They will play four consecutive rounds of golf during the day. No buggies will be allowed, but pull or power trollies will be.

Golfers will tee off at 5am and hope to finish by 10pm, covering 26,908 yards.

The teams are appealing for donations to help them raise as much money for the two good causes as possible.
