A Grantham vocal group will sing songs from Broadway in support of a local church project.

On Saturday, April 11, at 7.30pm the curtain opens on A Passage to Broadway, a concert of songs from the musicals, given by the Hi-Notes at ChristChurch in Grantham.

This popular group has been entertaining audiences around Lincolnshire for more than 16 years, helping to raise money for various worthwhile causes.

There will be songs from the great musicals such as Evita, Miss Saigon, Phantom of The Opera, Carousel and Les Miserables.

Tickets, at £6, are available by calling 01476 552004 and also on the door. Proceeds from the concert will go to the ChristChurch Community Project.

The church buildings on Finkin Street are constantly in use by a variety of groups, especially for musical events. Open twice weekly in the building, The Passage offers food and help to the vulnerably housed, and those sleeping rough.

The project will enable the facilities to be improved and upgraded for the benefit of all users.
