Grantham Hospital needs musicians for Christmas party

Grantham Hospital is looking for musicians to play a few festive tunes at its annual Christmas party for patients.

The celebrations are taking place at the older adult Manthorpe Centre at Grantham and District Hospital on December 18.

A previous booking had to pull out, leaving the ward high and dry for Christmas classics at its upcoming festive bash.

Chris Button, activity coordinator for Lincolnshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust said anyone kind enough to raise some Christmas cheer would be more than welcome to attend.

“We had some musicians booked for our party but unfortunately they are now unable to play for us.

“If someone can come along and play a few Christmassy tunes it would really help it go with a swing.

“We are not seeking professionals, but willing helpers who can play some suitable party hits for the patients.”

If you can help, contact Chris on 01476 464848.
