Grantham Journal letter: Bridge must be priority

Have your say

Last Saturday it took 25 minutes to travel from my home to town because the traffic on Barrowby Road was gridlocked for nearly 15 minutes.

How can the planners even think of carrying out its plan for the North-West Quadrant without first building the bridge so badly needed over the railway below the Muddle Go Nowhere, off Barrowby Road, to divert some of the traffic.

This has been promised over the 15 years I have lived in the area and the various excuses put forward for not building it are no longer acceptable as the volume of traffic increases yearly.

Perhaps someone in authority can explain why there is still a delay after all these years?
