Grantham Journal letter: Can cousins contact me for war project?

I read in the Grantham Journal (February 17) the story about the First World War soldiers from Corby Glen.

I have met Chris Wesley, who informed me of the outcome of my uncle Frank Podam’s history of the war.

The reason I am writing is to try and contact my cousin’s son, who is Frank Podam’s grandson.

I would like to ask John or Robert Podam (grandson and great-grandson) to get in touch with me on 01476 594534 to see if we can give any more information to the Corby Glen World War One Research Group.

I lived in Corby Glen until 1959. We had a photo of Uncle Frank hanging on the living room wall, but my father, Henry Podam (Frank’s brother), always refused to talk about it. The photo was destroyed in a fire at the house at 67 High Street, Corby Glen.
