Grantham Journal letter: Clear up rubbish from bridge strike

Mess left behind in Barrowby Road, Grantham, following bridge strike.

What on earth is wrong with those that have been elected to represent the people of Grantham?

Are they all devoid of any common sense or moral courage to make a decision and get on with matters?

As I write (Monday, August 10) the rubbish from the bridge strike three weeks ago is still there!

For goodness sake SKDC, the area around, and on, the disastrous “Asda” roundabout is bad enough, get it cleared up, produce a bill for either the driver of the truck (who is, ultimately responsible for it) or the company he works for and get them to meet the costs.

It’s quite simple really - no need to complicate it by blaming it on other areas around the Council - just get on with it and tidy up our Town!
