Grantham Journal letter: Fantastic evening

We went to the Gang Show at the Guildhall recently; both Liz and myself had a fantastic time.

The cast were of all ages and each and every one gave their best. The words to some very famous song were changed, but the results had us laughing at them all the same.

The song In the Brownies, was sung to the music of In the Navy, and when I saw Malcolm Hall and Graham Leicester dressed as brownies, it just made my night. I don’t think I can talk to Malcolm again without a smirk on my face. What legs they had (ha ha). The show was great from start to finish – I can’t wait till the next one.

The talent we have in Grantham is of such variety that we could have our own show every week for a year and not see the same act twice.

All I can say to the people who put these shows on for fundraising, is carry on.

Coun B. V. Wells

Deputy Mayor of Grantham
