Grantham Journal letter: Generous support is appreciated

On behalf of residents at Gregory House Care Home, I would like to thank the wonderful people who supported us through 2014 with donations, time and kindness.

It was a great result this year for Gregory House with all the donations and our gazebo is now standing and in good use.

Donations from the Valentine’s dance, Swimarathon, Mr Worth charity, Val’s retirement party and all others totalled £2,500 and was matched by the St John’s Trust.

A big thank you to our volunteers who come weekly and support us. They make such a difference to the residents’ daily living. Thank you also to the Journal team for your support with advertising our news and events.

In 2015, we have lots of plans and are hoping to continue with the garden project and build raised beds. Ideas, materals and donations are welcome.

Happy New Year to you all.
