Grantham Journal letter: Lorry incident is not a one-off

The shot of the lorry turning at Great Ponton (last week’s front page) is not a one-off but a regular occurrence.

It is mainly in the evening when lorries are leaving from what I know as Spittlegate Level, as there is northbound access to the A1 other than going though Grantham.

This is why the first part of the bypass should be a junction to the A 1 north at the Ponton end of the present A1 bypass.
