Grantham Journal letter: Pride in the choir at St Wulfram’s

Last Sunday, my wife Carole and I were invited to the mayor’s thanksgiving service at St Wulfram’s Church and couldn’t help but be impressed by the excellent standard of our church choir.

Having only heard them on rare occasions since I was a member of the choir in the ’50s, I was overwhelmed by the accuracy of the vocals and the perfection of the harmonies and soaring descants in the final verses of the hymns.

We should be very proud of them.
