Grantham Journal letter: So impressed with local talent

I would just like to say what real amateur dramatic talent we have in this town.

We went to see the NYT (New Youth Theatre) 8pm production of Oliver on Monday night at the Guildhall and saw a really professional performance of the Dickens novel.

We were there to see our five year old, Erica, perform but I must say Callum Sutton who played Fagin and Charlotte Morris who played Nancy were absolutely outstanding and would not look or sound out of place in the West End.

Terrific performances throughout from all the performers, well done to all involved, a thoroughly enjoyable night.
