Grantham Journal letter: Thank you for your support
Harrowby has been a part of my life, as a tenant, chairman of the tenants and residents compact, and as a councillor.
It has been such an honour to serve you all. Forty-four years is a long time in one place, but this is normal for the people of Harrowby because it is such a lovely place to live and bring up children.
I would have loved to have served a term as the Mayor of Grantham. I’m disappointed for the three charities I had chosen, if I was mayor.
My thanks also go to my friend and colleague Coun Ian Selby, his support and advice is/was second to none. I would also like to thank the Conservatives and UKIP for asking me to stand as a candidate for them. This means so much to me.
I would also like to thank Coun Richard Davies, Couns Mike and Jean Taylor and Couns Ray and Linda Wooten for their very kind words.
And finally, once again, to you the people of Harrowby for your support, love and friendship, thank you.
Coun Bruce Wells
