Grantham Journal letter: Thanks to all who helped us

On Saturday 24th October, I suffered a runaway mobility scooter in Asda resulting in running down my wife, Julie.

Could I thank the following people for their assistance. The Asda first aider who so quickly and professionally attended my wife, the young gentleman from Asda security who made my wife’s electric bicycle secure, and the members of public who came to her aid. Thanks to Ian and Pauline Challis for getting Julie home and looking after her, and to Andrew for becoming an on demand taxi driver.

Thanks also to the staff in Grantham A&E department, the X-ray department and the fracture clinic for the care given. In spite of a broken foot and ankle, all these people helped greatly to alleviate her suffering. Thank you to you all.
