I was bitterly disappointed to read in the Journal that your reporter ordered foie gras (Eating Out, August 16).
I can only assume that he has no idea of the dreadful cruelty that goes into the manufacture of this product. If he doesn’t believe me he should visit StopFortnumandMasonFoieGrasCruelty.com and see for himself.

I do hope that he never orders foie gras again and that he can inform all his friends about this awful business. The more people know about it the sooner it will be stamped out.
