Grantham Journal letters: Roads couldn’t be any worse now

By Grantham Reporter

It is difficult to believe that it could have been possible for anyone to have made life any more difficult for the motorist trying to navigate the already ridiculous traffic system in Grantham than it was before, but someone has managed with road closures and temporary lights in the height of the holiday season.

It seems that the council wishes to keep motorists (shoppers) out of the town altogether.

With the amount of constantly standing traffic belching out deadly fumes Grantham must have its own hole in the ozone layer. And would it not be possible to have a car park in Wyndham Park or if there is one to enlarge it to stop Hill Avenue being used as a free car park and enforce it. If you live in the area your road tax should be cut by half as you can only use 50 per cent of the roads in Grantham as the other half are being used as a car park.
