Grantham lettings agency scoops gold in national awards
Hard-working colleagues at a Grantham letting agency are celebrating after scooping first place at a national awards ceremony last week.
Belvoir Grantham, in St Peter’s Hill, has been named as best letting agent, as voted for by landlords in the national 2017 Estate and Letting Agents Awards (ESTAS).
Winning results were based entirely on independent feedback provided by landlord and tenants. The Grantham team received a large range of positive reviews, putting them ahead of other letting agents in the East Midlands.
Branch manager Carly French attended the ceremony at the Grosvenor hotel in London on Friday.
She said: “It was the first time that we’d entered, so we are thrilled to be recognised. It means so much as we know that it’s our customers who have judged us and they will always be our toughest critics.
“It’s a massive achievement for our staff. Every member of the team works tirelessly to stand out from other agents.”
TV property expert and ambassador for the ESTAs, Phil Spencer handed out the awards. He said: “This industry doesn’t get enough credit for the work it does with millions of customers around the UK. From the highly positive reviews put forward for Belvoir Grantham, it is evident that this team encapsulates what a typical independent agent is trying to do, which is provide an honest, transparent service for their clients.”
One landlord review commented on their professionalism. It said: “I live abroad and have peace of mind that the agents have my best interest at heart. They have been impeccable in managing my property.”
Another praised Carly’s leadership skills. It said: “An excellent service from Belvoir Grantham. Carly French leads her team with distinction. As a landlord I know my property is in safe hands.”
Belvoir, which has over 300 offices throughout its UK-wide network, also triumphed in the 2017 ESTAs overall, collecting a silver award for ‘Best Large Agency Group’.
Carly is now looking forward to next year’s awards. “As it was our first time entering, we just focused on the landlord award but next year we plan to enter into the tenant award as well.”
