By Grantham Reporter

Two local organisations have received a cash boost from the Grantham Lions Club.

Lions club president Phil Marshall presented a cheque for £300 to Janie McCormick and Tina Dingley, who are fund-raisers for St Barnabas Hospice, Grantham.

Phil said: “We are very passionate about helping local charities and good causes. St Barnabas Hospice is close to all our hearts and we continue to support them each year.”

They also presented £200 to the Grantham Canal Society as part of a five-year pledge to support its canal restoration project.

Funds are raised through the annual Christmas sleigh collection and various other fund-raising events throughout the year.
