Grantham passengers face disruption as all King’s Cross services cancelled on Saturday
Grantham rail passengers face disruption tomorrow (Saturday) because all train services in and out of London’s King’s Cross are cancelled due to engineering works.
Works near the station have overrun and East Coast Trains said passengers would need to start or finish their journey at Finsbury Park in north London, with at least one change of train. The operator said passengers should defer travel if possible.
National Rail said on its website that services to and from King’s Cross would be “significantly disrupted” on Saturday.
It said: “A revised timetable is currently being developed and will be made available as soon as possible. Please check our website regularly for updates.”
National Rail said a reduced service to and from London King’s Cross is expected to operate on Sunday but journeys may be re-timed and take longer than expected.
