Grantham Police appeal for witnesses to serious assault in High Street

Grantham Police want to hear from anybody who witnessed a serious assault near The George Centre last month.

Police are treating the incident on the evening of Saturday, February 18, as GBH. The victim, a man in his 20s, was taken to Lincoln County Hospital to receive treatment for what is believed to have been a serious head injury.

A Lincolnshire Police spokesman said: “The incident appears to have started as a verbal altercation between two groups near The George Centre. The victim was taken to Lincoln County Hospital for treatment of his injury.”

Anyone with information should call Grantham CID on 101, quoting incident 10 of March 19.
