Roads in the immediate area including London Road will remain closed whilst the fire is dealt with.

At this stage there are not thought to be any suspicious circumstances to the cause of the fire.

We understand also that trains on the East Coast main line are running but at reduced speed past the area of the fire.

No buildings have been evacuated.
