Grantham Rivercare volunteers delighted at 'light' clean up

Seventeen volunteers helped the 90th Grantham RiverCare clean up of the River Witham on Saturday.

It was one of their lightest clean ups with 35kg of rubbish collected including a large unicorn toy and a basketball.

The next clean-up takes place on Saturday, September 21, at 9.30am beside the Wyndham Park boating lake or at 10am at Bridge End Road. Wyndham Park will celebrate World Rivers Day on Sunday, September 22.
