Next week there will be two overnight closures on the B1174 between Little Ponton and Spittlegate.

The closures, between 8pm and 5am, on Monday and Tuesday, July 11 and 12, will enable the road to be surfaced and road markings to be applied as part of the construction of phase one of Grantham’s Southern Relief Road.

A signed diversion will be in place from the A1 along the A607 and back to the B1174, and from the A52 along the A607 and A1.

If any more night works are needed they will be done using two way lights.

Access will be maintained for businesses. Motorists should be aware when travelling during the closures that their journey may take longer than usual.
