Grantham Rotary donations help Pam to buy mosquito nets for Kenya children

Rotary clubs have donated money to help buy mosquito nets to protect children in Kenya.

Inner Wheel District International Service Chairman Pam Metcalf received donations from Neville Thompson, President of the Rotary Club of Grantham, and David Holmes, from the Sunrise Rotary Club .

The nets will be sent to the Joytown schools in Thika, Kenya.

Pam is hoping to present every school child in Thika with a net to help prevent malaria.

At this month’s meeting, Jean King talked about her work as a teacher at Stocken prison.
