Grantham’s community radio station Gravity FM gets behind flood appeal

Community radio station Gravity FM is urging people to donate items to help people affected by the floods in northern England.

The station is supporting Sleaford and District Round Table’s flood appeal by acting as a collection point for people in the Grantham area.

All donations can be dropped off at Gravity FM’s base in Riverside Walk, off Swingbridge Road, Grantham. Tweet @GravityFM972 for details.

Items needed include:

Towels

Blankets

Duvets, pillows and other bedding

Non-perishable food e.g. tinned soup, bean, packaged foods

Toiletries (male and female) including female sanitary products

Pet food

Pet bedding

Miniature hand sanitisers

Wellington boots/waders

Waterproof clothing

Protective clothing (inc work gloves)

New pants and socks

Crockery and cutlery

Baby/young child items (formula milk, baby food jars etc.)

First aid kits

Torches

Cleaning products

Brushes

Mops

Personal protective equipment

Dehumidifiers

Plug-in heaters
