Grantham’s Downtown helps to raise over £10,000 for charity

Customers and staff of Oldrids & Downtown, which has a store in Grantham, has raised over £10,000 for the Respite Association, a charity that cares for carers by providing respite care.

June Parker, HR director, said: “Oldrids & Downtown are so proud to be able to make a contribution to such a great cause and to help fund their incredible work in providing short term assistance for disabled, sick, elderly or terminally ill persons so that their regular carer can be allowed to take a much needed break.

“We would also like to take the opportunity to say a big thank you to everyone at ‘The Respite Association’ who gives their time and expertise with such unreserved generosity.”

The Respite Association was chosen as the Oldrids & Downtown charity of the year through a staff vote.
