A fund-raiser run every year by St Barnabas Grantham Hospice is to undergo a transformation.

The hospice, based in Barrowby Road, will no longer put on the Moonlight Walk in June. In its place will be ‘Early Bird Walk’, an early morning stroll around the grounds of Stoke Rochford Hall in September.

Hospice fund-raiser Janie McCormick said: “We need to give it a revamp and a change of scenery.

“Numbers for the Moonlight Walk haven’t grown in the last two or three years and we felt it’s time for a change.”

The date is provisionally set as September 18. The nine-mile walk will start at 7am.

Further details on the fund-raiser, and how to book, will be revealed soon.
