Springfield Road reopens tomorrow.

A Grantham road which has been closed since the beginning of November is due to reopen tomorrow.

Springfield Road has been closed at the railway bridge while work has been carried out to repair damage caused when a lorry collided with the structure in August.

A spokesman for Lincolnshire County Council, which is responsible for the county’s highways, said the road would open tomorrow, although could not confirm an exact time.

The road is due to be closed again in January with 12-hour closures on January 6 and 12 to install collision protection beams.
