Grantham school creates 'inspirational' graffiti wall

Creative youngsters at National Junior School have created an inspirational graffiti wall to leave a lasting legacy.

All 128 Year 6 pupils were given the opportunity to take part in an art competition to
design a graffiti wall which would highlight the school motto of ‘Aim High Believe, Fly High Achieve’.

The shortlisted entries were sent to James Mayle, a graffiti artist from Imageskool, to select one that he wanted to reproduce at the school last Thursday. The group decided to take
ideas from each person’s piece of artwork to reproduce. Assistant headteacher Theresa Thomas said: “I absolutely love our new inspirational wall and am exceptionally humbled by how the pupils have portrayed our school. A lasting legacy for years to come.”
