Grantham school gets its groove on for charity

Pupils at St Mary’s School, Grantham, swapped their uniforms for dancing gear to take part in Macmillan’s ‘Dress up and Dance’ event, last month.

Children were asked to come into school in their favourite dance outfits in exchange for donations for the cancer charity.

Throughout the day, both staff and pupils were able to check out the easy-to-follow dances on YouTube, with an introduction with Lisa Riley to get them all grooving.

They managed to raise £156 for Macmillan Cancer Support.
