The Priory Ruskin Academy in Grantham will be one of only eleven venues in the country hosting ‘The Biggest Book Show on Earth Tour’ as part of this year’s World Book Day events.

The event, planned in conjunction with The Federation of Children’s Book Groups, is taking place on Thursday, February 25, and will see the Academy welcome local primary school students to an interactive roadshow hosted by Steven Butler, author of The Diary of Dennis the Menace, and attended by a variety of other famous authors.

Vicki Geeson, reading room manager at the academy, said: “It is wonderful to be able to host such a high profile event at the Academy and to work with The Federation of Children’s Book Groups to encourage children to develop a lifelong love of reading.”
