Grantham shopkeeper threatened with blade in attempted armed robbery

A shopkeeper was threatened with a blade in an attempted armed robbery at a Grantham newsagents.

Two men wearing balaclavas entered Alma Park News in Grantham shortly before 8pm on Wednesday, October 23.

One of the men threatened the shopkeeper with a bladed item. The men then left the store empty-handed.


The suspects came from the direction of the industrial estate on Alma Park Road on entering the shop and ran off in the same direction.

A police spokesperson said: "We have carried out extensive investigations but enquiries are ongoing."
