Grantham Sugarcraft Club has donated cakes to the elderly, sick and bereaved for the Christmas period.

The club has been giving Christmas cakes to worthy causes for more than 20 years. The cakes are given to the elderly, sick and those who have recently lost a partner to show that they are remembered at this time of the year.

At a recent meeting the cakes were presented to Brenda Snowball for distribution.

The Sugarcrafts club meets on the second Thursday of each month at St John’s Church, Station Road, Grantham, at 7pm. Demonstrators show sugarcraft techniques and modelling. Beginners and visitors are welcome to go along to meetings.
