Grantham Sunrise Rotary Club launch their Sunflower Challenge.

Members of Grantham Sunrise Rotary Club have been brightening up Grantham with the introduction of the ‘Sunflower Challenge’.

Sunrisers attended Downtown Garden Centre on Saturday to promote the challenge, which the club hopes will prove to be a huge success.

The idea of the project is to introduce young people to the excitement of planting seeds, nurturing them, and watching them grow.

The official launch will take place this weekend at Downtown Garden Centre, where Sunrisers will be present to hand out seeds to budding competitors.
