Grantham sunrisers plant thousands of daffodil bulbs

Green-fingered members at Grantham Sunrise Rotary Club planted 5,000 daffodil bulbs on Barrowby Road in Grantham last month.

Local residents and Miller & Carter provided refreshments.

President Maggie Welton was delighted with the project, adding: “We hope that everyone will enjoy the sea of daffodils next spring.

“Thanks to Speedy Hire for the loan of a turf cutter and to David Wilson Homes who provided the bulbs from Gedney Bulb Company.”
