Grantham teacher to run London Marathon for disabled children

A PE teacher in Grantham is running the London Marathon to raise money for a disabled children’s charity.

Jacqueline McLean, 29, a teacher at the Phoenix School for five years, will be supporting Get Kids Going when she takes part in the marathon on April 26. The charity helps fund and support disabled children participate in sport. This will be Jacqueline’s first marathon but she has run other races including the Great North Run twice.

She said: “I am excited about the marathon but getting a bit nervous.”
